Updated Pictures

I have been meaning to post new pictures but I'm a bad mom and haven't taken any lately. So today that was my goal. Here's some new pictures just taken today in between canning tomatoes- I can't wait till tomato season is over!!

Laralee is the best big sister. She is very gentle and loving with Hartwell.

He's getting so big...already 14lbs.

He has discovered his toys and can grab and pull them. He has been giggling today too. Nonnie and Ryan got to hear it over the phone but he wouldn't do it for Papa and Mama here at the house.

This one was taken one day after church.
They looked so cute in their matching white onesies.

Hartwell's Blessing

Ryan blessed Hartwell today at church. Since I made Laralee's blessing outfit I had to make one for Hartwell too. I finished it late Saturday night....I procrastinated a little too much. I forget everything is harder and takes longer with a 2 year old. Hartwell was happy and quiet during the blessing which surprised us, he was screaming just 5 minutes before. Here is a family picture too. Laralee doesn't cooperate for pictures like she used to when she was little so we take what we can get. I love my cute little family.

9 mos and 10 days

After 9 months 10 days and 2 complete motor rebuilds he is finally done. He did it and I am so proud of him!!!

He took a breather after getting it starting and taking it for the first test drive. I'll let him fill you in if your interested in the details of the whole ordeal.

This is the look of complete success and satisfaction!!! You are awesome Ryan.

Amazing

While we were in Florida, Aunt Kim and Laralee caught caterpillars. They changed to the chrysalis stage the day before we left and yesterday they changed into butterflies. We were worried about them make the long car ride home but they lasted. Ryan has been watching and checking them everyday. Yesterday morning they turned black which meant it wasn't much longer. While I made zucchini bread the first hatched out, the other did while I was laying Hartwell down for a nap. It was cool to watch their wings grow bigger and get ready to fly. Laralee and I took them outside to let them go and were able to hold and sneak pictures before the departure. Laralee was a little freaked out but was patient with me while I snapped pictures and video. Hope you all enjoy the amazing nature we experienced.
