Goofing off before church

Laralee looked too cute last Sunday. Ryan took 75 pictures before the glamour shot session was over. She looks too adorable with her bow (thanks Lindsey!) Now there is no mistaking her for a boy. I think she just gets cuter everyday, but I'm her mom.

Everything goes in her mouth, and her clothes are soaked by the end of the day, if they last that long. Look at those rolls! Eat your heart out Myers. :)

South Carolina state bird.....

Ryan went to the garage to feed Daisy and these were on her food bin.....YUCK!!

Palmetto bugs (fancy name for cockroach) are the down side to living in the south. They can fit through anything, they run like the wind and enjoy flying straight at your head. These are two of our larger tenants, but believe me there are bigger ones.

3 mos. Update

This morning I woke up to feed Laralee at 6am like everyday but she was still asleep, so I gladly went back to bed. I heard her talking around 7am so I walked in her room and found her face up laughing at the animals on her mobile (thanks Nonnie, she loves it!). What is more exciting is that last night I had put her on her stomach to sleep. So sometime early this morning she rolled over for the first time and woke up in a sweet, pleasant mood. She had tried to roll over about a week ago but got stuck on her side and just started crying so I went in and helped her. I was starting to get worried that she wasn't getting enough of an opportunity to learn but I guess babies just learn when they want to, I can't do anything really but just enjoy each milestone.

Nonnie came to visit for 2 weeks in August. Laralee just loved her. She gave Nonnie a great big smile every time she saw her. We got to do a lot of sight seeing while Nonnie was here. Laralee went on her first carriage ride around downtown Charleston and just chilled on my lap the full hour. Everyone commented on how good she was and couldn't believe they never heard a peep out of her. Also she went on her first boat ride out to Fort Sumter. Daddy held her in the Baby Bjorn (or however you spell it) and she slept most of the way. We also took her to the beach, Nonnie has those pictures so I will have to post them later.

Last weekend my office had a pool party. Laralee borrowed a cute swimming suit from Carrie and was ready to hit the water......only problem was getting in the pool wasn't so great. Ryan took her in but she just cried and mommy had to rescue her. Maybe when she gets a little older, I want her to be a little fishy like Ryan. So she just enjoyed being held by Judy all day.
