My two blue eyes

Laralee loves holder her baby brother.  Now that he's older any time I lay him down she is going right behind me and picking him up.  Sometimes he likes it, sometimes he doesn't.

DIY

This guy can do it all....or at least look it up and figure out how to do it.  I can't believe how much he has saved us on projects by having the guts to learn and do it himself (with a little help from me sometimes).  Here is his latest achievement. BTW I took this at about 3am so that's the reason he looks a little tired- ya think!?

Fireplace before
Fireplace-during
(notice the beverage above the fireplace- he lived on these for almost 4 days to get it all done)
Fireplace after-
He did a great job!  He found the idea on the internet a day or two before we left, figured out what we needed and got it done.  Hopefully it helps the house sell quicker.
During our short stay he also replaced all the stair treads to match the new floor stain. These stair treads were left by the previous owner who tore the carpet off the stairs. They were never meant to be bare treads. That is why they look this way. He had never done this before either and this is only half of them- he is amazing.  The other amazing part is that he removed all the old treads while the kids were asleep and none of them woke up.  And let me tell you, it was LOUD!!!  Thank goodness for heavy sleepers.

Finished. Looks Awesome!
This was the easiest of the projects done during the weekend.

3 Months

Gager is 3 months today, I can't believe how fast he has grown and how quickly the time has gone.  He is the sweetest, easiest baby.  We all just love him to pieces.  Laralee wants to hold him just like a mommy and tries to cheer him up when he's waiting to be feed or go to sleep (pretty much the only time he cries).  Hartwell is toughening him up by pulling any body part he can get while talking to him in a high cute little voice.  He loves having a blanket or burp rag in his hand and up near his face.  And he has started giggling and laughing.  He woke Ryan and I up at 3:40am this morning with giggles and squawking.  It was hilarious, he kept it up for a few minutes and then quieted down and went back to sleep.
