SCORE

This is a yard sale find that Kaytee and I happened upon today. We were able to get this work bench, with the radial arm saw attached, and 17 different sizes of wood clamps for $40. Oh, and behind the work bench is my $10 gas blower, yes Kristine I got the blower from CraigsList, and it only cost me $4 to fix it. Now I just have to post a picture of my free garden tiller. Another Craigslist find.

While looking for furniture, a changing table, for the baby's room, we found an estate sale and saw this original oil painting. We both loved it from the beginning. We have been looking for a while now for something like this with all the colors and detail. It is not signed as far as we can tell, but whoever painted it is/was sure talented. We need to frame it but for the time being we hung it above our fireplace. They wanted $175 for it and I managed to convince them they only needed $35. We are hoping it turns out to be one of the million dollar finds.

Good-bye, farewell

There's something missing from this picture.....something tall with leaves. Ryan had some trees cut down in the yard this week. They were either dead or very sick, so we will be replacing them with some new healthy maple trees most likely.

Fun Saturdays in the garden.

This is what I watched Ryan do....it didn't look that hard. The dirt was SO solid that he had to turn it first with a shovel before using the tiller.

Yummy, Look at those armpits!!

When Daisy wasn't trying to "help" dig up the garden she was enjoying the shade of a tree in the backyard.

32 weeks!!

I can't believe it's already 32 weeks. This was taken after a hard day of working in the yard...well... I mowed the lawn then sat and watched Ryan work in the yard.
My nurse-midwife says I'm finally measuring about right. The last couple appointments I've been a lot smaller than I should be. Hopefully that means the baby is turning straight up, rather the than the sideways direction it's found a liking to.

Prego Kaytee

Kaytee has been asking me for months to take a picture of her while being pregnant. My response has always been, "In order to take a picture of being pregnant, you have to look pregnant. Otherwise, it is just another picture." As you can tell, I can no longer say that. She is definitely looking pregnant. However, she is 7 months along and is smaller than most non-pregnant women.
