Kaytee and I had a great time with the family running the Woodstock 5k. My time this year was better than the last. Wish I could say the same for Kaytee. However, she did just birth a baby 8 weeks ago. I had an interesting thought come to my mind after the 5k. It is interesting to me that she is able to push a baby out and deal with that pain but is unable to run a 5k without giving into the pain of running. Seems to me if I had the strength, physical and metal, to push a gigantic, in my mind, baby out of a tiny hole in my body, then I should have the strength and ability to do just about anything.....within reason. BTW - my wife does not know I am posting this and will probably kill me, within her power and ability, after she sees it. I am only kidding. I am very proud of Kaytee she did a great job.
Anyway, here are a couple of pictures the newspaper posted of Laralee and Kaytee. I find the pictures to be incredibly cute. Laralee loves to "race". I think she likes it mostly for the metal she gets at the end. When crossing the finish line of the 1 mile race, the announcer said, "look at the head full of pigtails!" I can't get enough of her.
