Matt's Old Truck

Last November Matt let me take his old truck home with me. I have been enjoying it ever since. I have been using it for all sorts of odd jobs around the house and even made a little money hauling stuff in the bed. These past few weeks Kaytee and I have been trying to raise our flower bed in the front yard. This required 2 1/2 truck loads of dirt. We managed to get a great deal on some really rich dark topsoil from a local landscaping supply here in town. These are pictures of one of those loads of soil. The bed of the truck was bottomed out on the chassis. Luckily, there is a rubber stopper between the bed and the chassis to keep any damage from happening to the truck. I still have a few more truck loads to get for the garden. I am sure it will not be a problem for the Mighty Maroon.

This was such a pain in the neck to clean.
I will never own another black car.

This was after it had rained.

The headlights were so caked they were useless.
